Electrical Tester - Slough

A leading electrical and instrumentation engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to join its team on a mission-critical project in Slough.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical testing and inspection on industrial installations.
• Complete testing documentation accurately and to a high standard.
• Ensure all work complies with current industry regulations and project specifications.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical testing, ideally within pharmaceutical, data centre, or other highly regulated industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical testing procedures and certification.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' LV experience in an industrial environment.
• QC Testing Number.
• Formal electrical trade qualification (certification required).
• Fully qualified Electrician with current Safe Electric (RECI) certification or equivalent.
• Verification & Certification (QC) Licence from a recognised British or Irish training authority.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Medium Voltage (MV) experience.
• Experience working on large-scale pharmaceutical or data centre projects.
• Additional electrical testing experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel when required.
• IPAF MEWP Licence.
