The Role
As an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving site equipment, helping to minimise downtime and ensure production targets are achieved.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to reactive maintenance breakdowns quickly and effectively.
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance activities across site.
- Diagnosing and fault-finding on a variety of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Supporting machinery installations, upgrades and site improvement projects.
- Completing electrical installation work in line with relevant standards and regulations.
- Updating maintenance records through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and sharing technical knowledge with colleagues.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and permit-to-work systems where required.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a team player who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a business that values its engineers.
You'll ideally have:
- A recognised Electrical Qualification.
- Experience carrying out electrical fault finding.
- Knowledge of 3-phase systems and control panels.
- Previous experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider engineering team.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
