The Electrician will take responsibility for the electrical installation, testing and commissioning of EV ChargePoint installations. This position does not have a fixed location and may involve supporting EV installation projects across the UK.
You will be a competent electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements
Essential:
• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification or Approved Apprenticeship.
• 1-3 years' experience in commercial or industrial electrical installations.
• C&G BS7671: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• JIB/CSCS Gold Card.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
• Experience with DC chargers ranging from 50kW to 400kW+.
• C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing.
• SSSTS.
• C&G 2919 (or equivalent) Electric Vehicle Charging qualification.
Key Responsibilities
• Install EV charging stations in domestic, commercial and industrial environments.
• Follow work instructions, electrical designs, cable calculations and manufacturer installation guides to ensure compliant, high-quality installations.
• Liaise with the EV Qualified Supervisor and provide updates on ongoing installation work.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and ensure safe working practices at all times.
• Work to site-specific Programmes of Work.
• Complete NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificates through the NICEIC online portal using a tablet device.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections and remedial works.
• Prepare and submit reports detailing work completed, issues encountered and solutions implemented.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, supervisors and fellow electricians to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to remain up to date with industry best practice and company standards.
