Solar PV & Battery Storage Electrician

Clevedon, South West of England | £48,000 – £55,000  + Company Van + Fuel Card + Overtime + Training + Quarterly Socials | Full Time | Mon-Fri | 08:00 - 16:00

What You'll Be Doing 

• Installing and commissioning solar PV systems 
• Installing battery storage and hybrid inverter systems 
• Completing AC and DC electrical works 
• Inspection, testing and electrical certification 
• Commissioning inverters, batteries and monitoring platforms 
• Configuring CT clamps, meters and communication equipment 
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues 
• Completing remedial works where required 
• Ensuring all installations comply with BS7671, MCS requirements and manufacturer guidelines 
• Completing accurate commissioning records and certification 
• Working closely with our Solar Project Manager and Design Engineer to deliver exceptional installations 
   

What We're Looking For 

Essential: 

• Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) 
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 
• Experience with inspection, testing and electrical certification 
• Solar PV installation experience 
• Battery storage installation experience 
• Strong fault-finding skills 
• Full UK Driving Licence 

Desirable: 

• Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent) 
• ECS Gold Card 
• MCS installation experience 
• Manufacturer training on solar PV and battery systems 
• Experience with domestic and commercial renewable energy installations
