Electrician in Liverpool, Merseyside

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join an established M&E / Building Services contractor delivering electrical installations across a range of commercial and industrial environments.

This is a varied, hands-on position covering all aspects of electrical installation, with particular involvement in plant rooms, heating controls and associated building services systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations across commercial building services projects.

• Install, wire and connect heating controls, pumps, valves, sensors and associated plant room equipment.

• Undertake electrical works associated with mechanical plant and HVAC systems.

• Install containment, cabling, distribution boards and control panels.

• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.

• Carry out testing, inspection and fault-finding where qualified.

• Work alongside mechanical engineers and other trades to ensure successful project delivery.

• Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and health and safety standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

• Experience working within commercial M&E / Building Services environments.

• Good understanding of heating controls, plant rooms and mechanical services electrical installations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team.

• ECS Gold Card desirable.
