We are looking for experienced Electricians to join a major nationwide electrical rollout programme.
Following the successful completion of a number of trial locations, the programme is now moving into full-scale delivery. The initial phase covers approximately 140 sites, followed by another 141 sites, with further phases planned over the following 18 months.
You will work as part of a two-person site team alongside an experienced Site Manager, completing electrical works predominantly during night-time shutdown periods.
The RoleTypical duties will include:

Carrying out LV electrical works across sites nationwide

Connecting and disconnecting temporary generators under dead-working conditions

Assisting with the relocation and installation of CTs
-
Installing associated tray work
-
Installing COP boxes and associated equipment
-
Carrying out cabling and electrical installation activities as required
-
Working safely in accordance with RAMS and site procedures
-
Completing works within agreed shutdown and handback periods

Testing/checking completed installations as appropriate

Working closely with the Site Manager to ensure each site is completed safely and efficiently
All primary materials for the works will be provided.
What We're Looking ForYou should have:

Recognised electrical qualifications

Experience working on commercial, industrial or utility electrical installations

Good understanding of LV electrical systems
-
Experience working safely on isolated/dead electrical systems

Ability to work independently as part of a small two-person team

Strong health & safety awareness
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Flexibility to travel nationwide

Availability to work approximately 5 nights per week
Experience with any of the following would be particularly beneficial:

LV operations
-
Generator connections
-
CT installation or relocation
-
Metering equipment
-
Distribution equipment
-
Retail or multi-site electrical rollout programmes

Electrical shutdown works
Sites are located across the UK, with works predominantly taking place following store/site closure.
Individual sites are expected to involve approximately 8 hours of work, with a high volume of ongoing sites available.
The role offers £275–£325 per shift, with travel and accommodation covered in addition to the shift rate.
