Electrician

We are currently recruiting for experienced Gold Card Electricians to join a major commercial construction project in Oxford.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development with a reputable M&E contractor, offering long-term work and consistent hours.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carrying out 1st fix electrical installations
• Installation of containment systems including tray, basket, trunking and conduit
• Cable pulling and terminating
• 2nd fix electrical works including lighting, power and final connections
• Installation of switches, sockets and distribution equipment
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed to current regulations and site standards
• Working closely with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project programme

Requirements

• Valid ECS Gold Card
• Proven experience working on large commercial construction projects
• Ability to work independently from drawings
• Experience with both 1st and 2nd fix installations
• Own tools and PPE
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures on site
