Electrician – Utility Scale Solar Farms
Location: Field-Based (Nottingham / Mansfield / Rotherham Region)
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Vehicle + Benefits

NO SOLAR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, ALL TRAINING PROVIDED

The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Electrician to join a growing operations and maintenance team within the renewable energy sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale solar PV systems while gaining exposure to emerging technologies such as battery energy storage systems (BESS).

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimising solar assets, ensuring high performance and reliability across multiple sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned maintenance and basic fault-finding on solar PV systems
• Responding to reactive maintenance issues and supporting fault resolution
• Monitoring system performance and identifying improvements
• Working closely with a wider field team and supporting site operations
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence
• Fully Qualified Electrician (Gold Card or equivalent)
• Industrial or Commercial Experience (Desired)
