Electronics Assembler in Hilsea, Portsmouth

Infinity Employment is recruiting for an Electronics Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Portsmouth.

This is a fantastic temp-to-permanent opportunity for someone with previous experience within manufacturing, electrical/electronic assembly or a similar hands-on production environment.

This is a fantastic temp-to-permanent opportunity, working 37.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at £12.71 per hour. (Increased after training)

The Role:

Working as part of the production team, you will be involved in the assembly of safety power solutions and associated electrical and electronic components.

Your duties will include:

• Assembly of fire and security systems and electrical/electronic components
• Inserting electrical connections, wires, terminals and PCB components
• Working with wiring looms and connectors
• Basic electrical testing and inspection of completed assemblies
• Identifying and reporting any defects or quality issues
• Basic mechanical assembly using hand tools
• Working from drawings and assembly instructions
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality

Experience required:

• Previous manufacturing, electrical or electronic assembly experience
• Experience working with PCBs or electronic components
• Good attention to detail
• Good manual dexterity and practical hands-on skills
• Ability to follow drawings and work instructions
• Basic mechanical assembly experience
• Basic computer/Excel skills
• A reliable and positive approach to work
