Electronics Repair Technician

Location: Watford
Job Type: Full-time - on site
Salary: £30-33,000pa

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Repair Technician to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the dis-assembly, repairs, assembly, and testing of electronic units while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies and finished products.
• Carry out box build and electro-mechanical assembly.
• Perform functional testing and quality inspections.
• Read and work from engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Complete repair records and production documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe working environment.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in electronics repair and fault finding.
• Box build and electronic assembly experience.
• Good soldering and PCB rework skills (through-hole and SMT).
• Ability to use test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, team-focused approach.
