Engineering Supervisor - Mechanical Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of engineers
- Supervise planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Manage work allocation, scheduling, and service delivery performance.
- Ensure all engineering activities are completed safely and compliantly.
- Support fault diagnosis, breakdown response, and emergency situations.
- Act as an Authorised Person and Competent Person where formally appointed.
- Manage contractors and specialist service providers.
- Maintain accurate records through CAFM systems.
- Deliver toolbox talks and support staff development.
- Build strong relationships with campus stakeholders and project teams.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and operational excellence
Profile
A successful Engineering Supervisor - Mechanical should have:
- Mechanical qualification with at least three years' relevant experience, such as NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, City & Guilds Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation qualifications, or equivalent.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience within a maintenance or engineering environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £45,000 to £52,500, dependent on the level of experience.
- Additional benefits package included.
- Permanent position based in London.
