Engineering Supervisor - Mechanical Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of engineers
• Supervise planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
• Manage work allocation, scheduling, and service delivery performance.
• Ensure all engineering activities are completed safely and compliantly.
• Support fault diagnosis, breakdown response, and emergency situations.
• Act as an Authorised Person and Competent Person where formally appointed.
• Manage contractors and specialist service providers.
• Maintain accurate records through CAFM systems.
• Deliver toolbox talks and support staff development.
• Build strong relationships with campus stakeholders and project teams.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and operational excellence

Profile

A successful Engineering Supervisor - Mechanical should have:

• Mechanical qualification with at least three years' relevant experience, such as NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, City & Guilds Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation qualifications, or equivalent.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience within a maintenance or engineering environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £45,000 to £52,500, dependent on the level of experience.
• Additional benefits package included.
• Permanent position based in London.
