WORKING HOURS..
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, daytime hours (8-hour shifts on a rotating basis). Shift Times:
Early: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Day: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Late: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Weekend Work: You will cover just one weekend per month. This weekend shift always follows your week on the "Late" shift rota.
DUTIES...
- Day-to-day repair and maintenance of electrical/mechanical plant.
- To carry out repairs and maintenance in a safe manner and to report any unsafe practices to the Engineering manager.
- Support and carry out maintenance and calibration regimes to satisfy the needs of the planned maintenance system.
- Freely share your own engineering knowledge with the engineering team to move quickly towards a multi-skilled department.
- Clean as you go – support the Engineering managers commitment to a high standard of housekeeping everywhere at all times.
- To support the engineering manager in maintaining all plant in good order and in meeting production, validation and project needs. Ensuring all QMS activities including QEIO and Change owner responsibilities are carried out on time and to the required standard.
- Support the team in minimising consumable costs using the SCADA system to identify opportunities via data analysis.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Proven experience in maintenance coordination, asset management, or engineering operations
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and critical utilities (HVAC, WFI, clean steam, compressed gases)
- 25 annual leave days plus bank holidays and 3 annual company closure days (to be taken between Christmas and New year)
- Enjoy a long 4-day weekend right after your weekend shift, with the following Monday and Tuesday off.
