TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream secondary school's based in North Essex, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic English Teacher. 

The school's are looking to appoint an English Teacher from September on either a long term or short term basis, with the opportunity for a temporary to permanent contract for the right English Teacher. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons, maintaining high classroom standards and supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school environment
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive, adaptable and proactive approach
