The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons that develop a love of literature, language, and creative expression, while supporting pupils to achieve their full academic potential.

• Deliver high-quality English Language and English Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that challenge and motivate learners.

• Monitor and track student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement.

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and attainment.

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND and EAL.

• Contribute to departmental initiatives, enrichment activities, and wider school life.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• A degree in English or a related subject.

• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
