An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced English Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition in Sefton.
The role would suit a confident educator who enjoys working closely with individual learners and can tailor lessons to develop their literacy, comprehension and written communication skills.
About the Role
Provide structured 1:1 English tuition
Plan sessions according to learner ability
Develop reading, writing and comprehension skills
Identify areas requiring additional support
Use engaging and accessible teaching resources
Build confidence and encourage participation
Monitor learning and communicate progress
We're Looking For
Previous experience teaching or tutoring English
Strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum
Experience working with children or young people
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching to individual needs
QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional references involving work with children
