Job Vacancy: School Cleaner – Enhanced DBS Required

Location: Maidstone
Hours: 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Working Hours: Afternoon 
Pay Rate: £14.24
Job Type: Part-time

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy Enhanced DBS Cleaner to join our team, helping to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic school environment for pupils and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints.
• Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained throughout the school.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is required, or willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, subject to the school's requirements.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Able to follow instructions and maintain high cleaning standards.
