Enterprise Security Architect - SC Cleared

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Security Architect to support a major UK critical national infrastructure programme.

You will define and maintain enterprise security architecture across complex technology environments, working with engineering, cloud, operations, risk, compliance and supplier teams to ensure secure-by-design delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain current and target-state security architectures.
• Apply frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA and ArchiMate.
• Design secure hybrid and cloud-native architectures, with a focus on AWS.
• Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and security design reviews.
• Define security standards, patterns and reference architectures.
• Provide architecture assurance across cloud, network, infrastructure and enterprise technology initiatives.
• Support governance, audit and technical assurance activities.
• Advise senior stakeholders on security risks, design decisions and emerging threats.
• Work across multi-supplier delivery environments to ensure architectural alignment.

Essential experience

• Strong experience as an Enterprise or Security Architect in a large, complex environment.
• Good knowledge of security architecture principles, governance and risk management.
• Experience with TOGAF, SABSA, ArchiMate or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong AWS cloud security architecture experience.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, identity security, encryption, network segmentation, SIEM and SOC integration.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Ability to produce clear architecture artefacts, standards and design documentation.
