Event Supervisor - Temporary in Leicester, Leicestershire

The Opportunity

We are looking for a confident, experienced Event Supervisor to support the smooth running of a series of large-scale hospitality events throughout December.

The venue hosts events for approximately 200–450 guests, offering a three-course dining experience alongside bar and VIP table service.

Working alongside the overall event management team, you will play an important role in supervising staff, maintaining service standards and ensuring guests receive an excellent experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and supervising hospitality staff throughout the event.
• Supporting the setup of the room and ensuring everything is ready for service.
• Coordinating food and drinks service across the dining area, bar and VIP tables.
• Managing staff responsibilities and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Working from guest lists to coordinate food orders and ensure meals reach the correct guests.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service in a busy, lively environment.
• Taking ownership of the team and confidently managing any issues that arise.
• Coordinating the end-of-event clear-down and kitchen close-down.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a hospitality supervisory or team leadership role.
• Is confident leading and motivating a team.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Can remain calm and professional in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Is confident taking ownership and making decisions.
• Has a strong understanding of food and beverage service.
