As we go through an exciting period of growth, we are now looking for an Events and Admin Assistant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

The Role

As an Events and Admin Assistant, you will provide essential events and administrative support to the Lantra Scotland Team, helping us deliver programmes and projects whilst engaging effectively with customers, partners and colleagues.

Specifically, you'll be making sure our events and engagement activities are meticulously planned and executed, delivering a professional, efficient experience to all parties.

You'll be involved in high-profile events, such as the Royal Highland Show, ALBAS, Be a Farmer and VirtRural, playing a vital role in planning and delivery, and fulfilling a critical support role.

Supporting the Scotland Director and wider team with a range of administrative tasks to keep our work moving, you'll manage enquiries and shared resources, maintain accurate records and support financial processes.

Additionally, you will:

- Process purchase orders and invoices, and support supplier administration
- Respond to enquiries about training funds, projects and events
- Maintain information for reporting, audits and monitoring
- Support the management of shared inboxes and calendars
- Promote Lantra Scotland

About You

To be considered as an Events and Admin Assistant, you will need:

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- The ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
- The ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
