Are you an experienced Executive Assistant or Private PA looking for a role where you can really make a difference?
We're working with a successful and well-established private business to recruit an Executive Assistant to support the Chairman. This is a varied and interesting role, working closely with the Chairman across both his business and personal commitments.
This is far more than a traditional diary-management role. You'll become a trusted right-hand person, taking ownership of a wide range of responsibilities and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
The Role:
- Extensive and proactive diary management, anticipating priorities and resolving clashes
- Coordinating internal and external meetings
- Managing emails and correspondence, drafting responses and ensuring actions are followed through
- Preparing documents and information ahead of meetings
- Arranging complex travel, including flights, accommodation and transfers
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- Liaising with internal teams and external contacts on behalf of the Chairman
- Supporting financial and administrative requirements
- Coordinating events and private functions
- Assisting with monthly Board meetings, including preparation, documentation and follow-up
- Occasional minute-taking and maintaining clear records of actions
- Managing a variety of personal and business administration
About You:
- Highly organised, discreet and naturally proactive, with the confidence to work directly with a senior business leader
- Has previous experience in an EA, Private PA or similar senior support role
- Is exceptionally organised and has outstanding attention to detail
- Is confident managing a busy and ever-changing diary
- Has excellent communication skills and sound judgement
- Is comfortable dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Is confident liaising with people at all levels
- Takes genuine pride in making sure everything runs smoothly
What's on offer?
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm (100% office-based)
- Salary up to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
