Premier Work Support are working with a specialist shipping company based in Basildon who are looking to recruit a permanent Export Co-ordinator.

As the Export Co-ordinator you will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the existing US Import department.

This role would suit someone with some experience of import & export procedures looking to progress and take ownership and responsibility and develop their skill set.

You will be an enthusiastic creative free thinker who is willing to become involved in our clients focused operation.

Duties will include:

  • Handling our clientsChicago consolidation service
  • Handling certain consolidation movements for their general New York consolidation
  • Assist with Australia bookings from the warehouse and advising the Melbourne office
  • Data entry for Magazine business including invoicing out clients
  • Potentially handling pre advising for the US office for consolidation containers

Key skills required:

  • Experience in Freight Forwarding
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and other MS programs including Teams.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with USA region is preferred but not essential

Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
