Overview:
Our highly successful Electrical Wholesale client, based in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking an experienced External Sales Representative to join their established and growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a proven background in electrical wholesale, customer account management, and business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing an existing portfolio of customer accounts while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities within the region.

The Role:
• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of customer accounts, building strong, long-term business relationships.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory to achieve sales growth.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements, provide product advice, and promote the company.
• Work closely with the internal sales and branch teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to maximise repeat business and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

Skills/experience:
• Experience in the Electrical Wholesale industry, with a good level of product knowledge 
• Confidence in negotiation and relationship management 
• Experience in a sales-focused role within the electrical wholesale industry
• External Sales experience
