Austin Dean Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teacher to join a thriving Children's Centre supporting children from birth to 5 years old.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering outstanding early years education and making a positive impact on children's development during their formative years.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
- Develop and implement an engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Support and mentor Early Years Practitioners, promoting excellence in teaching and learning.
- Monitor, assess and evaluate children's progress and development.
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers and multi-disciplinary professionals.
- Support children with additional needs and ensure inclusive learning opportunities.
- Promote safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing at all times.
- Contribute to the continuous development of curriculum policies and best practice.
- Create stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage exploration and independence.
Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching children aged 3-5 years.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development from birth to 5 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable
- Experience working with children under 3 years old.
- Experience within Children's Centres, Nurseries or integrated Early Years settings.
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Experience mentoring or training Early Years staff.
