Austin Dean Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teacher to join a thriving Children's Centre supporting children from birth to 5 years old.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering outstanding early years education and making a positive impact on children's development during their formative years.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
• Develop and implement an engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Support and mentor Early Years Practitioners, promoting excellence in teaching and learning.
• Monitor, assess and evaluate children's progress and development.
• Work collaboratively with parents, carers and multi-disciplinary professionals.
• Support children with additional needs and ensure inclusive learning opportunities.
• Promote safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing at all times.
• Contribute to the continuous development of curriculum policies and best practice.
• Create stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage exploration and independence.

Requirements

Essential

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching children aged 3-5 years.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development from birth to 5 years.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable

• Experience working with children under 3 years old.
• Experience within Children's Centres, Nurseries or integrated Early Years settings.
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Experience mentoring or training Early Years staff.
