Salary: £37,870–£56,154 per annum
Salary will be determined by experience and the candidate’s position on the applicable Outer London Main Pay Range.
Teach Now is partnering with a caring and well-organised primary school in Barnet to appoint an inspiring EYFS Teacher for the new academic year.
The school is looking for an EYFS Teacher who can create an engaging, language-rich environment where children feel safe to explore, communicate and become increasingly independent. You will plan purposeful learning across the indoor and outdoor provision, assess children accurately and work closely with teaching assistants and families.
The setting values play, creativity and strong relationships while maintaining clear routines and high expectations.
- Planning and delivering an ambitious EYFS curriculum
- Creating stimulating continuous provision
- Supporting communication, language and early literacy
- Using observation and assessment to plan next steps
- Establishing positive routines and behaviour expectations
- Identifying and supporting children with additional needs
- Maintaining effective communication with parents and carers
- Working collaboratively with EYFS colleagues and support staff
Candidates must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Recent EYFS teaching experience or a strong EYFS placement
- Secure knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Effective classroom and behaviour-management skills
- Strong assessment and record-keeping practice
- A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
- Availability for a full-time, long-term position
