Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum (M1–UPS3)
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

A warm and inclusive primary school in Wandsworth is seeking a creative and nurturing EYFS Teacher to join its Early Years team.
The school provides a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, communicate and develop independence. The successful EYFS Teacher will plan purposeful play-based learning while building strong foundations in early language, literacy and mathematics.
Responsibilities
• Planning engaging learning experiences across the EYFS curriculum
• Creating stimulating opportunities for child-led and adult-led learning
• Supporting early communication, phonics, literacy and numeracy
• Observing children and using assessment to plan appropriate next steps
• Establishing positive routines and promoting independence
• Adapting provision for children with SEND or additional needs
• Maintaining a safe and inviting learning environment
• Working closely with Early Years practitioners and support staff
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers

Requirements

• UK Qualified Teacher Status
• Recent experience teaching within EYFS
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• A good understanding of early phonics and child development
• A creative, caring and well-organised approach
• Strong observation and assessment skills
• ECTs with relevant Early Years experience are welcome to apply
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one
