Are you an experienced Refrigeration or Air Conditioning Engineer with an F-Gas qualification looking to step off the tools and move into a rewarding training role?

In this role, you'll deliver F-Gas and refrigeration training to adult learners, helping engineers gain the qualifications and practical knowledge needed to progress in their careers. If you're coming directly from industry, you'll initially spend time shadowing experienced trainers before completing fully funded teaching and assessing qualifications. Once established, there will also be opportunities to broaden your technical knowledge and deliver additional courses.

The ideal candidate will have an F-Gas qualification and at least three years of practical experience working with refrigeration systems and refrigerants, including installation and servicing. Previous teaching experience is not essential, as the company is specifically looking for experienced engineers who want to move into training.

The Role:

• Monday-to-Friday working hours, typically 7:30 am-4:30 pm.
• Deliver F-Gas and refrigeration training to adult learners.
• Full teaching and assessing qualifications funded by the company.
• Initial shadowing and support from experienced trainers.
• Opportunity to develop into additional technical training disciplines.
• Primarily based at Northolt or Luton, with flexibility to cover the other centre.
• Mileage expenses paid when travelling to another centre.
• Supportive working environment with free daily breakfast and regular staff events.

The Person:

• Refrigeration Engineer / Air Conditioning Engineer / Refrigeration Service Engineer or similar.
• Must hold an F-Gas qualification.
• Minimum three years of practical industry experience.
• Experience installing and servicing refrigeration systems and working with refrigerants.
• Previous teaching or assessing experience advantageous but not essential.
• Good communication skills and an interest in developing others.
• Looking to move into a long-term training career.
• Able to commute to Northolt or Luton and travel between centres when required.
