We are recruiting experienced Structural Steel Fabricators for a workshop-based role in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled fabricators seeking long-term work with the potential for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricating structural steelwork to engineering drawings.
- Measuring, marking out, cutting and assembling steel components.
- Using fabrication tools and workshop machinery safely and effectively.
- Tack welding components where required.
- Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Competent with fabrication equipment and hand tools.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach.
