This company specialise in precision engineering, advanced manufacturing and innovative technology solutions, supplying customers across a wide range of industries on a global basis. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance, safety and presentation of the company's facilities and grounds. Working closely with internal teams and external contractors, you will oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, complete hands-on repairs and ensure the site remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose. You will also have one direct report.

This is an ideal role for someone with a strong facilities, maintenance or engineering background looking to join a company who will invest in your future development and progression. You will need to be from a manufacturing background and have experience of acting as a mentor.

THE ROLE:
* Managing day-to-day facilities maintenance, repairs and improvements across the site
* Carrying out hands-on maintenance works across buildings, fixtures, fittings and general infrastructure
* Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities with external contractors
* Managing contractor performance, maintenance records and compliance documentation
* Supervising the Maintenance & Facilities Assistant and supporting workload priorities

THE PERSON:
* Experience within facilities, maintenance, engineering or a similar hands-on environment
* Strong practical skills across general building maintenance and repairs
* Experience supervising staff, contractors or maintenance activities
* Good understanding of health & safety requirements within a facilities environment
* Organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities
* Mentorship experience
