A leading professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee facilities operations across multiple UK office locations. Supporting approximately 1,200 employees, you'll play a key role in maintaining a high-quality workplace environment, ensuring offices are safe, compliant, efficient and presented to exceptional standards. Your new role
As Facilities Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of facilities operations across multiple office locations, ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery. You will be part of an exciting refurbishment project.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing planned preventative maintenance and reactive works.
  • Overseeing health & safety and statutory compliance across the estate.
  • Managing supplier, contractor and landlord relationships.
  • Leading and developing a small facilities team.
  • Managing service charge processes, budgets and cost control activities.
  • Conducting workplace audits and office inspections.
  • Supporting office refurbishments, relocations and workplace improvement projects.
  • Driving operational efficiency, sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Providing regular reporting on facilities performance, risks and project activity.
  • Ensuring an outstanding workplace experience for employees, clients and visitors.

This role requires regular travel between office locations and a hands-on approach to facilities management in a professional corporate environment.
Central Bristol location.
12 Month Fixed Term contract.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven Facilities Management, Workplace Operations or Premises Management experience.
  • Experience managing facilities across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management, health & safety and workplace compliance.
  • Experience managing suppliers, contractors and service providers.
  • Experience with service charge budgets, reconciliations and property-related documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management systems.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • IWFM Qualification
  • Other recognised Facilities Management or Health & Safety qualifications
