Role Overview
Pact is looking for a Family Support Team Manager (known internally as a Family Engagement Manager) to lead our visitor centre services at HMP Belmarsh. This is a hands-on management role at the heart of family engagement work, overseeing the prison's booking line, family visit catering, children's play sessions, and a range of family-focused interventions. You'll also support families' access to secure video visits and work closely with our subcontractors in the Visits Centre.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the visitor centre provision at HMP Belmarsh
- Overseeing the prison's booking line service
- Coordinating family visit catering services
- Facilitating play sessions for children during family visits
- Delivering family-focused interventions, including homework clubs, special visits and themed family days
- Supporting families' access to secure video visits
- Coordinating with subcontractors operating in the Visits Centre
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrable ability to coordinate a broad range of services
- Experience of working with families in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally involving offenders and/or their families
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload
- Ability to contribute to the planning and development of Pact's family work
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build partnerships across agencie

This is a part-time, permanent post working 22.5 hours per week on a rota that includes regular weekend work.
