We're looking for a caring and reliable Female Healthcare Assistant to support a man in his family home and within the local community.
Family is at the heart of his life, and he enjoys spending quality time with his loved ones, playing dominoes and board games, watching television and visiting the gardens near his home.
He values carers who are respectful, engaging, and able to build positive relationships with both him and his family while maintaining a professional approach within their home.
You'll provide person-centred care while supporting his daily routine and managing his clinical care needs, helping him remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.
Previous tracheostomy and ventilator experience is essential for this role.
Your Role as a Female Healthcare Assistant
- Personal care
- Preparing meals- full support with all meals and fluids
- Moving and handling
- Medication Administration
- Managing tracheostomy and ventilation care
- PEG feeding, catheter care and cough assist
- Assisting in the community
- Supporting with household chores
What You'll Need
- Previous tracheostomy and ventilation experience (essential)
- At least 3 months' experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Support Worker
- Confidence with personal care, medication administration and moving and handling
- Excellent communication skills
