- Full time hours available (39 hours per week)
We're looking for Female Support Workers to join us in Caterham. You'll be part of a small team of 8, supporting 5 lovely ladies with learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism. They're all mad about music and would really appreciate someone with brilliant communication skills. Plus, they're absolute fans of pamper sessions – nails, facials, you name it! It'd be ace if you've got some experience working with adults who have learning disabilities and challenging behaviours, but honestly, it's not essential.
No two days are the same, but here's what you might get up to!
- Helping the people we support get stuck into day-to-day activities and making the most of what's happening in the community and beyond.
- Supporting social activities and helping them keep in touch with family and mates.
- Lending a hand with managing finances.
- Keeping their home nice and tidy, plus doing the food shop.
- Providing and encouraging personal care.
- And most importantly, actually enjoying what you do!
