We have an exciting opportunity for a Female Support Worker to join us in our remarkable supporting living model in Southbourne. You’ll have the opportunity to build confidence, learn practical skills and gain hands-on experience.
The service supports seven young adults, each living in their own self-contained flat, while receiving the right level of support to help them achieve their personal goals.
To be considered for this role you must hold a Full UK manual driving licence.

The role:
Aspire in Southbourne is a supported living property where seven residents live independently in their own self-contained flat where we provide support through life transitions from living at home to living independently.
You would be assisting with everyday tasks from laundry, weekly food shopping as well as encouraging with meal preparation and creating healthy food options. The support doesn’t just stop there! You would also help build their confidence in a wider setting, from being on hand to provide advice with work placements, as well as developing day to day interactions.This role would suit someone with a warm, attentive nature, who is physically active and comfortable spending a lot of the day on their feet, whilst having enthusiasm to empower the people we support so they can thrive.
You’ll also be required to maintain support records, including care plans, finances, appointments and medication records. You’ll also follow individual support plan, ensuring the people we support feel comfortable, happy and supported, while using your own skills and life experience to encourage independence and develop good life skills within the community.
Hours: Full Time and Part Time available
You would be required to work a mixture of shift which will vary between 7am - 10pm, on a 2 week rolling rota.
This will include working alternative weekends and completing sleep ins, (sleep ins come with an additional payment.)
