A well-established engineering business in Poole is looking to recruit a reliable Fettler to join their production team. This is a great opportunity for a practical, hands-on Fettler who is keen to develop their skills within a busy and supportive workshop environment.

The role is working a day shift Monday to Friday with an early finish on Friday and paying £13.50-£15ph 

If you're a motivated Fettler with a passion for working with metal components and developing your fabrication skills, this position offers excellent training, job security, and long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities for the successful Fettler:
  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal products
  • Prepare materials by cutting, Fettling, grinding, and deburring components
  • Work closely with experienced welders and fabricators across various projects
  • Follow engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions
  • Perform quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and tidy workshop environment
Essential Skills & Experience required to be considered for this Fettler position:
  • Previous experience as a fettler is essential  
  • Understanding of metalwork or fabrication processes
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
