I am recruiting on behalf of my client for a skilled Heatshell Laminator to join an established manufacturing team in Ferndown.

My client specialises in the manufacture of high-quality carbon fibre products and is looking for an experienced Heatshell Laminator who takes pride in producing precision components to the highest standards while working safely, efficiently and as part of a collaborative team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Heatshell Laminator to become part of a business that values quality, continuous improvement and employee development. The successful Heatshell Laminator will play a key role in meeting production targets while maintaining exceptional quality and health & safety standards.

As a Heatshell Laminator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Manufacturing high-quality carbon fibre heatshell products to required quality standards.
  • Working with resins, fibreglass and carbon fibre lay-up processes.
  • Following all safe systems of work and ensuring the correct use of PPE at all times.
  • Reporting health and safety improvements and near misses.
  • Ensuring all products consistently meet quality requirements.
  • Achieving weekly production schedules and output targets.
  • Supporting flexible working arrangements to meet customer demand.
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting potential shortages.
  • Carrying out weekly safety checks.
  • Monitoring and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards using 6S principles.
  • Supporting cross-training across manufacturing processes.
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Continuing to develop your own skills and supporting the wider manufacturing team where required.
To be considered for this Heatshell Laminator position, you should have:
  • Experience working with resins, fibreglass and carbon fibre lay-up.
  • A good understanding of workplace Health & Safety practices.
  • A strong team-working attitude.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise your own workload.
  • A calm and focused approach under pressure.
  • Flexibility with working hours when required.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support other areas of the business when needed.
