Field Service Engineer - Retail IT / EPOS - Co. Tipperary
€33,000 to €39,000 plus van, on-call and overtime

An established provider of retail IT and infrastructure services is looking for a Field Service Engineer based in Tipperary. Suitable for engineers in Clonmel, Thurles, Nenagh, Cashel, Roscrea, Tipperary town or Carrick-on-Suir.

Tipperary will be your base, but the role is regional rather than county specific. You will cover surrounding counties across Munster and the south east as required, so you should be comfortable with a wide geographic patch and varied travel.

Working from home with a company van, you will visit multiple retail sites each day carrying out maintenance, break fix, project work, hardware installs, software upgrades and decommissioning, keeping the helpdesk updated throughout.

What you get:

• Up to €39,000 based on experience
• Company van taken home, all tools and kit provided
• 37.5 hour week
• 1 in 3 on-call rota, €250 allowance
• Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday to Saturday and 2x Sundays and bank holidays
• Permanent position, ISO certified employer

What you need:

• Field based service experience, several calls per day
• Willingness to travel across the wider region, with flexibility on hours
• EPOS experience preferred, or a strong IT hardware background with proven field work
• Full clean Irish or European driving licence
• Right to work in Ireland
