Working closely with senior stakeholders across trading, operations, commercial, and wider business functions, you’ll provide meaningful financial insight and challenge to help drive profitable growth.
Reporting into the Head of Finance / Finance Director, you’ll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, performance analysis, and business partnering. You’ll play a key role in helping stakeholders understand financial performance, identify opportunities, manage costs, and make informed commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities:
- Acting as a trusted Finance Business Partner to key stakeholders across the business
- Providing commercial insight and financial challenge to support business decision-making
- Leading and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Producing and analysing monthly management accounts and performance reports
- Providing clear commentary on sales, margin, costs, profitability, and key KPIs
- Partnering with commercial, trading, operations, and other functions to drive financial performance
- Analysing trading performance and identifying risks, trends, and opportunities
- Supporting business cases, investment decisions, and commercial initiatives through robust financial analysis
- Developing financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Monitoring budgets and challenging variances, ensuring appropriate actions are identified
- Improving financial reporting, processes, and the quality of commercial insight available to stakeholders
- Presenting financial information and recommendations clearly to senior management
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Management Accounting role
- Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis
- Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate financial information into clear commercial insight
- Experience within retail, consumer, FMCG, or another high-volume commercial environment would be advantageous
- A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment
