We pleased to be recruiting for a Finance Manager on a full-time permanent basis on behalf of a leading technology and manufacturing business based in north Herefordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a growing organisation during an exciting period of change. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening controls, supporting commercial decision-making, and helping shape finance processes as the business continues to evolve.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and group reporting
  • Producing Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports
  • Preparing budget variance analysis and key financial performance metrics
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process across the business
  • Providing financial insight to support commercial decision-making
  • Assisting with statutory reporting, including VAT and other taxation requirements
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts
  • Managing payroll and pension administration through an outsourced provider
  • Completing P11D and P60 reporting
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with financial controls and process improvements
  • Assisting with wider finance responsibilities as required by the business

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience within a finance management or senior finance role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable working within a changing business environment
  • Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems

Desirable:

  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a multi-currency business
  • Knowledge of Epicor and Microsoft Dynamics accounting systems
  • Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC
