An established and highly respected construction and property development business is looking to appoint a Financial Manager to join its head office team.
With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments, the business has experienced consistent growth and continues to expand its project portfolio across London and the South East.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of the finance function, providing accurate financial reporting and commercial insight across multiple live projects and business entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and management of monthly management accounts
- Production of cashflow forecasts and financial reporting packs
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Managing year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors
- Overseeing accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and transactional finance functions
- Supporting project teams with financial performance analysis
- Monitoring project costs, valuations, and profitability
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Managing VAT returns, CIS reporting, and construction-specific financial processes
- Providing financial and commercial insight to support business growth and decision-making
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proven experience within the construction, property development, or main contracting sector
- Strong understanding of construction accounting, project reporting, cashflow management, and financial controls
- Experience preparing management accounts and leading month-end processes
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with operational and senior management teams
- Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
