Location: Exeter, Somerset & Dorset
Salary: £34,000–£38,000 basic

• £34,000–£38,000 basic salary, depending on experience

• Door-to-door travel paid

• 24 days' annual leave plus bank holidays

• £150 standby payment per on-call week

• Company van with personal use

Company overview

Our client is a well-established Fire Protection business with over 50 years of industry experience. They hold several recognised accreditations, including BAFE SP203-1, SP101 and SP206, alongside ISO 9001:2015 certification. Operating across the South West, they provide comprehensive fire protection solutions to a wide range of sectors. Secure & Recruit has successfully placed three engineers with the business, giving us first-hand experience of working with their team.

Role overview

• Service, fault-find, and repair of fire alarm systems across a variety of sites.

• Identify and resolve system issues, ensuring equipment remains fully operational.

• Work across commercial sites throughout Exeter, Somerset and Dorset.

• Participate in a 1 in 7 week call-out rota.

Experience required

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.

• Good fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.

• A sound understanding of fire alarm systems and relevant regulations.

• A professional approach with good customer service and communication skills.
