Fire and Security Engineer

You'll be working entirely within a 30-mile radius of Preston. That's right - no 5am starts, no three-hour motorway commutes, no waking up in a Travelodge car park wondering which county you're in.

• Installing and maintaining fire alarm and security systems for a great mix of local commercial clients.
• Diagnosing faults within a team of knowledgeable and experienced engineers.
• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance.
• Taking your turn on the call-out rota - 1 in 4, so you get your life back the other three weekends.

• We're looking for someone who has worked on Kentec, Gent or Morley. This is what you will be working on daily

• Solid experience in fire alarm and/or security system installation and maintenance.
• Relevant qualifications (FIA, BAFE, or equivalent)
• A full UK driving licence
• Someone who takes pride in the job, and can liase with customers.

• Local work - 20 miles, not 200.
• 1 in 4 call-out - genuinely fair, not "1 in 4 on paper, 1 in 1 in reality".
• Company van, tools, and phone.
• A privately owned company where you're a person, not a payroll number.
