We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to carry out installations within a hospital. Skilled in ensuring fire doors comply with current fire safety standards and regulations through detailed inspections, adjustments and repairs.
Duties Included:
- Installing and fitting fire doors in line with current fire safety regulations
- Installing door sets, frames, ironmongery, intumescent strips, and smoke seals
- Ensuring correct clearances, operation, and compliance of all installed fire doors
- Carrying out quality inspections and rectifying installation defects
- Working within occupied properties while maintaining a safe and professional environment
- Completing compliance paperwork and installation records accurately
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
