Fire door carpenters

Location: Dudley
Contract: ongoing work until atleast Dec 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday
Rate: £25 per hour CIS, or pricework
Perks: Weekly pay, option to do pricework to earn more £££

About the Role:
Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Fire door carpenters to join our client’s passive fire teams, focussing on either remedials or installations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within occupied domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day  upgrades and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of remedials on firedoors in domestic tenanted and void properties, and also communal areas in tower blocks across the City.

• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties

• Complete necessary remedial works in line with company H&S Policies and ensuring they are compliant to regulations.

• Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits.

Requirements:

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in any relevant trade

• Previous experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Awareness of fire regulation within carpentry & fire doors
