Jenson Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door & Passive Fire Protection Engineer to join a growing specialist team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in fire door inspections and installations, passive fire protection and remedial works, looking to develop their career within a well-established organisation.

The Role:

• Install, maintain, and repair fire doors in line with current regulations and third-party certification requirements.
• Carry out fire stopping and compartmentation works, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.
• Conduct fire door and passive fire surveys, identifying defects, non-compliances, and required remedial actions.
• Identify defects and recommend appropriate remedial solutions
• Complete detailed reports and documentation
• Ensure all works comply with relevant British Standards and industry regulations
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other site personnel
• Travel to various commercial and residential sites as required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience within fire doors and/or passive fire protection
• Good understanding of relevant fire safety standards and legislation
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Able to complete accurate reports and documentation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant fire door/passive fire qualifications would be advantageous
