Fire Extinguisher Engineer Role Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire safety company covering Southwest London.
This is predominantly a fire extinguisher servicing role, with the opportunity to carry out basic testing and servicing of emergency lighting and fire alarm systems where required. You'll work across a varied commercial customer base, delivering a high standard of service while building strong client relationships.

Fire Extinguisher Engineer Role & Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and inspect portable fire extinguishers in accordance with current British Standards.
- Carry out basic testing and servicing of emergency lighting and fire alarm systems where required.
- Complete all relevant service documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Identify defects and recommend remedial works where appropriate.
- Provide excellent customer service whilst representing the company on client sites.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Travel to commercial customer sites across South West London, with occasional travel across Greater London.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
Fire Extinguisher Engineer Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining portable fire extinguishers.
- Experience testing or servicing emergency lighting and/or fire alarm systems would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of current fire safety standards and industry best practices.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to successfully complete a DBS check
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- BAFE
