About Our Customer
4way Recruitment has partnered directly with an established fire protection specialist to secure a permanent Fire Protection Project Manager for their team. Our client designs, installs and maintains fire sprinkler systems and ancillary services for commercial and residential customers, and is growing its London delivery team.

Salary and Benefits – Fire Protection Project Manager

• £65,000 to £80,000 basic, depending on experience
• Car allowance of £500 per month

Key Responsibilities – Fire Protection Project Manager

• Managing sprinkler projects from award through to completion, tracking progress and adjusting plans to hit financial targets
• Managing contracts and ensuring delivery stays within scope and contract obligations
• Building and running commercial plans that support the wider projects strategy
• Building strong relationships with clients and the supply chain, and keeping services aligned with client needs
• Supporting the sales team on new business, including pitches, briefing meetings and guidance for estimators
• Preparing and presenting technical proposals to customers
• Managing and resolving escalated complaints and operational issues, and supporting internal and external investigations
• Keeping operational KPIs on track, including application management, cash collection and project deliverables
• Maintaining compliance with health & safety legislation and industry standards, and supporting the retention of company accreditations
• Line managing, developing and helping to recruit team members, including leading training sessions
• Reporting to senior commercial leadership on key departmental matters and setting performance targets with the technical and commercial managers
• Representing the business at client and industry events, and staying current with industry developments

Skills and experience – Fire Protection Project Manager:

• Comprehensive fire sprinkler industry knowledge, including BS EN 12845 and BS 9251
• Previous commercial and contractual experience, including construction contract types such as JCT and NEC
• Management experience, including leading a team
• Strong customer-facing skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Creative problem solver, motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Full UK driving licence
