The Role

Our client a well-established manufacturing company are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead transport, despatch and goods receiving operations.

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will manage a small team and be responsible for the safe, efficient and accurate movement of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the logistics team.
• Coordinate daily transport, despatch and goods receiving activities.
• Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counting and stock control.
• Plan outbound loads and manage third-party hauliers.
• Monitor deliveries and resolve operational issues.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Customer Service and Quality.
• Ensure high standards of health, safety and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement across warehouse and logistics operations.

About You

• Proven experience as a Logistics, Warehouse or Transport Manager within a regulated environment.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of inventory and stock control.
• Confident using ERP/WMS systems and Excel.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• High standards of safety and quality.
