Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join our team. Experience in the installation of fire alarm systems is essential, but ideally the successful candidate will also have experience in the installation, testing, commissioning and fault-finding of fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, CCTV and emergency lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, test and commission fire and security systems.
- Install and configure intruder alarm systems, including detectors, contacts, sounders and control panels.
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, recording equipment and associated cabling/network equipment.
- Install, test and repair emergency lighting systems.
- Carry out first and second fix installation works and system alterations.
- Program and configure systems where required.
- Fault-find and rectify installation issues.
- Complete commissioning certificates, test sheets and site reports.
- Work from drawings, specifications and manufacturers’ instructions.
- Liaise professionally with customers, site managers and other contractors.
- Work safely in accordance with company procedures, RAMS and site requirements.
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in fire alarm installation is essential.
- Experience in intruder alarm, access control and CCTV installation would be advantageous.
- Experience with systems such as Advanced, Kentec, C-TEC, Fike, Ajax, Paxton, Texecom, HKC, Galaxy, Hikvision, Dahua or similar would be beneficial.
- Experience with emergency lighting installation and testing.
- Good understanding of electrical and low-voltage systems.
- Able to read drawings and work independently.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Professional approach with good customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Relevant industry qualifications and manufacturer training would be advantageous.
