Fire Stopper

An established passive fire protection contractor is looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to work across projects throughout the Midlands on a self-employed basis.

The company specialises in firestopping, compartmentation and fire doors, delivering works across residential, commercial, healthcare, education and social housing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install firestopping systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
• Complete penetration sealing, cavity barriers and compartmentation works.
• Install a range of passive fire protection products and systems.
• Ensure all works are completed to the required quality and compliance standards.
• Complete site documentation and photographic records where required.
• Liaise with Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure works are delivered efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fire Stopper/Passive Fire Installer.
• Strong knowledge of firestopping and compartmentation.
• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent.
• CSCS card.
• Experience across residential, commercial, healthcare or social housing projects advantageous.

Package

• £220 per day.
• Self-employed/CIS basis.
• Consistent project pipeline.
