Fixed Term Human Resources Advisor

Pertemps Daventry are currently recruiting for one of our well established Global Automotive companies and are looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join a busy and supportive HR team based in Dunton, Essex.

The successful candidate will provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of people-related matters.

The Role
As a Human Resources Advisor, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of HR services across the business. Working closely with managers and employees, you will provide practical, professional and commercially focused HR advice while ensuring company policies, procedures and employment legislation are followed.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with typically 2 days per week onsite, with flexibility to attend up to 3 days per week when business needs require. Own Transport and Driving licence required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice, guidance and support to managers and employees.
• Support managers with employee relations matters, including absence, performance, conduct and capability.
• Provide advice and guidance in line with company policies, procedures and current employment legislation.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee development and offboarding.
• Build strong and effective working relationships with managers and employees at all levels.
• Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
• Support HR projects, initiatives and wider people-focused activities.
• Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver a high-quality and effective HR service.
• Provide a proactive, professional and solutions-focused approach to HR queries and employee matters
• Dealing with High Volume Recruitment.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role with 3-5 years previous experience or/and a CIPD Qualififcation but not esstential and will be confident providing advice and guidance across a range of HR matters.

You will be approachable, professional and able to establish positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
A good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice is required, together with the ability to deal confidently and sensitively with confidential and sometimes complex employee matters.
